Allegations of sexual abuse have increased dramatically over the past several years, challenging the criminal justice system and other professionals to interpret accusations and evidence.
Through our extensive assessment process, we are able to assist in verifying or invalidating allegations ; and our group treatment approach employs a confrontational, investigative, and supportive process designed to maximize the treatment experience.Individual and family treatment is also utilized to explore personal issues in more depth, process group information, and provide feedback toward improving group participation.

RSOTS offers a unique program for developmentally challenged individuals who act out sexually. This specially designed service is provided by experienced treatment providers and utilizes proven behavior modification techniques. Behavior improvement benchmarks are set early in treatment to maximize success.

Close supervision is provided and the challenged individual’s caregivers are involved in every aspect of treatment.

RSOTS performs comprehensive Sex Offender Assessments for private , governmental and legal entities. This service consists of :

RSOTS provides treatment services to Spanish speaking offenders. Translation services are also available for speakers of Arabic, French and Russian.

Recommendations for treatment and/or placement are available upon assessment completion .




RSOTS provides comprehensive services for individuals referred for assaulting their partners.

The Initial Assessment includes a Spousal Assault Risk Assessment, a psychosocial history and other psychometric measures when needed; and individuals found to have severe mental illness and/or acute substance abuse problems are precluded from participation.

RSOTS utilizes the Duluth treatment model that proscribes a minimum 24-week participation in which the following topics are explored:
  • Non-violence
  • Non-threatening behavior
  • Respect
  • Honesty
  • Accountability
  • Sexual respect
  • Partnership
  • Negotiating
  • Fairness
In addition, the program introduces the concept and practice of the following behavioral change techniques:
  • Taking time outs

  • Using positive self-talk
  • Acknowledging women's fear
  • Letting go
  • Fighting fear
  • Using assertive behavior
  • Accepting women's anger
  • Being aware of non-verbal cues
  • Communicating feelings and thoughts
  • Not needing to win
